Passion Pieces

This SFX makeup look was made from mostly household items. To build up the base of each tentacle I bent aluminum foil into the desired shapes and wrapped each one in painters tape to get rid of the texture. This allowed it so acrylic could be applied to the overall prosthetic. To finish off the look I glued Cheerios on to resemble the suction cups on an octopus.

I added varnish on certain parts of each tentacle to make it appear wet and glossy. I then used liquid latex to apply the prosthetic to the model and added fake blood around the base. I covered the visible latex with foundation to make it seem as seamless as possible.
